She is a graphic designer currently based in Rotterdam, NL
studying at Willem de Kooning Academy.
In her projects she likes to combine photography/illustrations with text —
they vary from print, editorial, motion, digital, web design and more.
She enjoys learning new techniques, therefore you’ll usually see her working
towards creating something different than before.
Her work is often research based and inspired by different experiences —
observation of art and designs, music, nature, people and exposure to
different places in the world.

I made this for an assignment where we were asked to pick a quote and create a
kinetic poster based on it. For my quote, I chose the lyrics
“Extinguished by light, I turn on the night” from the song
“Wearing the Inside Out” by Pink Floyd. After listening to the album
multiple times, I created the illustration shown using Adobe Photoshop, and used After Effects
to animate the motion.
The visual features the statue from the Division Bell album, a bell—referencing
how the album begins with the sound of bells and musical notes taken from a
piano piece in the album. The rails represent how people tend to
isolate themselves when they are struggling emotionally, effectively imprisoning themselves.
Moreover, the quote itself reflects how, during periods of isolation,
people often stay in their rooms during the day. When night falls, and the world no longer expects
anything from them, they may finally find the energy to act or create.
