Elena’s practice is rooted in a strong commitment to the relationship between designer and
client. Through research-driven work she blends the disciplines of graphics, focusing on
storytelling and attention to detail.
Her services include a deep-rooted passion for visual identities and culture, with a special
interest in creating work for the entertainment world — particularly festivals, clubs, and the
music industry. Her approach combines precision with a sense of enjoyment, aiming to create
engaging and memorable experiences for the audience.
Designed a publication featuring a collection of lenticular cards inspired by the fusion of two cultures located in the Eastern Mediterranean, approached through personal experience and memory.
The visual language of the project combines patterns derived from traditional Cypriot embroidery, Greek-Cypriot words and letterforms, and icons developed using Ancient Greek diacritics. Many of the symbols appearing throughout the cards reference personal moments, cultural observations, and elements connected to this dual cultural experience.
The project also experiments with the construction of Greek letterforms inspired by the visual style of Clara Sambot’s typeface Cirrus Cumulus, adapting its playful and fluid characteristics into a new typographic system.
